If your identity card or passport is lost or stolen, the embassy can issue a replacement travel document to travel back to Belgium.
Bring the report of the local police and 260 CZK (by cart or in cash). The procedure is faster if you have another proof of identity (e.g. driving licence), a photocopy of the lost or stolen document (note their numbers on a separate note) or if you know your national register number (on your identity card or SIS card).
If you are travelling back by car or train, the police report will suffice. You will then not need to come to the embassy.
If you fly back with Brussels Airlines or Ryanair or Czech Airlines, the police report will suffice. You will then not need to come to the embassy.
